Our overhead costs are substantially lower than those of providers in Lake Oswego and Portland. We pass those savings directly on to hardworking families while still delivering the same high-quality structured literacy lessons offered at higher-priced locations.


First off, don't panic.  You are taking a great step to ask questions and seek assistance for your child's reading and learning difficulties.  One first step is getting a professional evaluation to determine current academic skills.  


Yes.  According to Mayo Clinic, "Dyslexia tends to run in families. It appears to be linked to certain genes that affect how the brain processes reading and language, as well as risk factors in the environment"


I have a BA in English and Secondary Education.  My Master of Arts is in Curriculum and Instruction: Literacy Instruction.  I am licensed teacher, K-12 English Language Arts, Special Education, and Reading.  I am completing my credentials as an Orton-Gillingham Associate. 


Approximately 45 minutes.  We sometimes end a little earlier if a student exhibits fatigue.  Building brain connections is hard work!  Small group sessions are 60 minutes.


Yes, we require a minimum of three sessions per week. Our goal is to bring your child up to grade level in reading and writing as quickly as possible, and high-dose tutoring is the most effective way to achieve this.  We recognize that committing to three or more sessions can present financial and scheduling challenges. However, ensuring your child develops strong reading and writing skills is one of the most important investments you can make in their future. Structured-literacy tutoring is that investment.
